At approximately 1:30 A.M. Patrolman Robert Raber conducted a traffic stop on Rankin Avenue South in Dunlap. The driver of the vehicle, Jerry Lee Grissom, 51 years of age of Spencer TN., was found to smell strongly of an alcoholic beverage. Grissom admitted to drinking alcohol and was found to be intoxicated.
A passenger in the vehicle, Derek Scott Desjardins, 22 years of age of Spencer, TN., had an open container of beer and was also found to be intoxicated
Grissom and Desjardins were arrested and transported to the Sequatchie County Justice Center. Grissom was charged with D.U.I. and Desjardins was charged with Public Intoxication and Open Container. Both men are scheduled to appear in Dunlap Municipal Court on April 29th, 2010.

At approximately 12:30 P.M. Patrolman Robert Raber observed a vehicle traveling erratically on Rankin Avenue South in Dunlap. Upon stopping the vehicle the driver exhibited signs of intoxication and was given field sobriety tests. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jeffery R Harvey, 36 years of age of Graysville TN. Upon completing the field sobriety tests Harvey was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for D.U.I.
Harvey was transported to the Sequatchie County Justice Center and he is scheduled to appear in Dunlap Municipal Court on April 29th, 2010.
