I have not seen that horse. Is it better than the one Howie Ewton was riding?
I have heard twice that this show was canceled I suggest you call them before you go. If you are bringing horses defiantly call them . If your horse just needs to go for a ride in the trailer then go.
I don’t think the sorrow horse has beat Bones(Mr. Ewton’s horse) but then again the sorrow is a true WALKING HORSE, that can keep right on Bones tail LOL. It’s all in fun.

I went past there Thursday and today, Friday. The sign out front (made of posterboard) advertising the show was gone and the gates were locked. I only saw a couple of horses grazing out front and a vehicle up at the barns. I have no clue as to what is going on with that place at all.
Stephenson Stables at 25853 U.S. 127 No., Dunlap, is closed. There will be no horse show at the location.
Loss of lease or some kind of landlord tenant agreement or disagreement . The Show is canceled . Please do not go there . Bear in mind that I have not heard anything from them.
If someone has further info please post it. it would be a shame if people load up to go and there is no show.
There is a Saint Jude Benefit Show Next Week. Could someone post the time date and address ? I want to promote it .

It was a great place to have a show. It is a nice property and the price is reasonable. I have seen it and it has enormous potential.
This would be a real bargain because people that have show horses need places to keep them.
There are some pretty fast Walking horses I guess, but if you want a speed horse, get a stsndardbred! “We do it faster!”

The change will never happen. The sides are inflexible money is an issue. 5 mils on property taxes in an impoverished community. With huge unemployment and no jobs in the pipeline.
Plus calling people rednecks or using the term to describe county residents is just darn odd. Why would that stereotype be acceptable at a official meeting ? Not one person corrected her. I was not on the agenda so I said nothing but I reported it. The city and county officials just looked dumbfounded.
Their jaws dropped so I know they noticed the bigoted remark.
I am sad because we have had some mauling of children. So they need to act. Start registration now. Make sure the dogs have an owner. Right now if a child is mauled nobody will claim ownership.
Registration will make the leash law enforceable.
So now we must ask ourselves if this woman who calls us rednecks at an official meeting should be on any committee funded by the taxpayers. Should she get $2400 from our pockets . The incoherent babbling and lack of actual answers dumbfounded me.
I understand she is emotional about this but obviously she needs to be replaced with someone that could be more productive.
1. Registration would start the long process of fixing this problem and start bringing in money to finance the shelter.

I turned on the registration, But also have that problem. I use mozilla firefox. internet explorer changed and the comment boxes only have covers when ie is used.
I hope she plans on producing the receipts for the money she was given.

I have seen a gentle caring side of Jean that has earned my respect.
She worked so hard to try to help me save a week old puppy and when it passed I seen the tears and saddness on her face.
Sometimes we have to put up a wall to try to protect our hearts from the pain we see in these animals eyes everyday.
Wanting to help them all and knowing to is no way.
Until you are there at that point it’s hard to judge someone.
We all need each other at times,I know I need all of you more often.
You are good people and I know you have it in your heart to forgive.

I use Maxthon browser exclusively for years, which uses IE as it’s engine. Also would be nice if the text in reply box was scrollable and was aligned better to prevent scrolling rigth to left.

I am working on this it is an Internet explorer problem. I am hoping Microsoft will come out with an update. Mozilla does not have this problem and older explorer versions do not. It am on this. I use linux because it is easier for me to deal with the server and only use windows to check things. People believe i sit around and troll topix but I can assure you I do much more. It’s the animals that need our help! They are domesticated by us. they have to have us to spay and neuter them. a neutered male dog is a better pet and much less aggressive. Let them help the animals and help the people to help the animals. It really sounds as though “some”residents need some education of proper pet care and what makes dogs aggresive like chaining, non-neutered males, dogfighting,etc.

This meant a lot to our family and all the thoughtfullness will never be forgotten. I worked throughout the day at the food tent and I can’t tell you how many times people would tell us to keep the change when they paid for their food. It was truly touching. When someone buys $2 worth of food then gives you a $10 bill and tells you to keep the change you know you’re amongst wonderful people.
