Local Sex Offenders

Local Sex Offenders, we now have 42 that are convicted in Dunlap Tennessee one that does not have to register and several not caught or prosecuted. There is one that I know of that does not have to register ex county commissioner Barnett Slatton.  Click here for more on him. Political ties got him off the list. Some on this list have done less than him.

Sex offenders can not be profiled but some of the prevalent behaviors are,  inflicting pain or humiliation on other people, exposing oneself in a public place, watching others who are undressing, unclothed, or engaging in sexual activities, participating in or watching acts of physical aggression or violence and / or sexual contact with others against their will or without their consent. More often than not it is a violent act and there is no “love” in it. Date rape and spousal rape are more common than rape by strangers. The recidivism rate is very high especially in youthful offenders.

To me these are horrific crimes. Children can’t really give consent to sexual contact and to take an act of love and make it into something humiliating and violent is disgusting.  Please be a human. I think I preferred the time when sex offenders were executed.
